This is my final post for this blog. I have come a long way of learning what bullying is and how it really affects students. When I started doing this blog, the only thing I knew about bullying is that they beat up people to show dominance and for fun but after doing intense research, I thought It was more of a mental thing that everyone worries about. I do not know why people started this trend but to discover a lot of fear and doubt seems to cause lots of problems of other people even though some might not have been bullied. There are dozens and dozens of solutions that people come up with to reduce bullying but no matter how effective they are, some bullies will still blend in and cause even more stir to our minds. Some want to have laws put up for it but most bullies are around in middle school so there is no chance of them of being put into jail. Some want to have meetings about this topic, however, it always ends up in failure and ignore the signs. But others want to stand up to the problem and risk dealing with suspension from the school. It is no wonder why people are still fearful and conservative to stand up not to bullies but their mind as well.
I feel that this issue is really interesting but complex. At first, I though doing blogs was really going to be hard and tedious but after contributing all of my posts into my blog I feel pretty comfortable and I have done alot of good work over my blog. The topic however, I felt that it was really complex to talk about it and to deal with it. I saw ridicluos amounts of information about what causes bullying, cyberbullying, and ways to stop it. It was real intense trying to research the amount of information that I concluded that It was all in our minds. If people fear it, then why is there a reason to do nothing what so ever. When people ask if they saw bullying, they will admit that they have but only in the past and they put in no effort to see the whole thing. I think this topic to me is too emotional to deal with. Even though I am not bullied, it is just emotional to think about it. It is all in my head, there is no reason to be afraid. It is just that I have to stand up to everything all the time. And that is why the topic is complex.

What will I learn Bullying to students and parents.
The topic of bullying is hard to get through to everybody and usually results into failure. Using the most traditional means of showing awareness to bullying like an assembly is not enough for the students to get involved in and not enough for the school to make it effective. As a student myself, I have seen these assemblies and I know that they are boring and not intresting. So what are better ways to educate students into this topic? To get started, one possible solution is to make a play about anti bullying. Plays are very entertaining since it can be commical or dramatic but it also they teach a lesson. And by using it, seeing the plays will often draw students into the play so they will learn the signs of bullying yet still be entertained. Next is to have an immersive bully interventions like peer mediation. Peer mediation allows students to talk about problems about bullying so that the behavior will stop. I think that there should be more into mediation say talk about problems of other things rather then bullying. Therefore, students will be more comfortable of sharing problems with other students, to be more understanding and finally develop better relationships with even more students. Lastly is to have stand up to yourself and to have self confidence. Most students do not even think of trying to stand up to themselves because they are afraid, they do not want to bet hurt or they do not want get into trouble. Bullying is a behavior thing it is all in their heads so if students think about it or fear it then why am it posting this? It is possible to fight the mind and stand up to negative behavior like bullying. This is how we become stronger and more confident to step up to bullying and finally any problems. We cannot sit here and do nothing just because us students and parents cannot stick up to bullying. If we feel that we are threatened, we have the right to defend ourselves, even that means getting into trouble.

Solutions to Bullying #2
Even though bullying will not go away, there are a couple of solutions on how people can stand up to themselves over bullying with out thinking about. The first is simply build confidence on yourself. Having confidence makes you more aware of your surroundings and also make you less afraid of things including getting hurt. The last thing you want to do or should not is chicken out and do nothing. if you want to stand up to the bully, do with confidence. The next reason and it is the most obvious is to not think about bullying or even mention the word bully. The real reason why people are afraid of them or talk about it is because they think too much about it all the time. Bully right now is getting old and boring, why should you spend a lot of time thinking about it? It is not relevant to people's live anymore. If you think about it, then yes, you might be might be afraid of other things. But do not live in fear of that word or idea about it, it is just your thoughts that is playing tricks on you. Let them out, it will be better in the long run. How ever you get bullied and have no idea what to do, learn self defense. Focus your your mind in say that "I am going to do this." that way you will be prepared and the bully has no idea that you have training. However, you can only use it to escape, not fight. You should only use it so the bully is afraid of you and not the other way around. And remember the confidence part where you should stand out. You do not want to be panicking when dealing in this situation. all of these reasons will help you in the long run.

Alternative Solutions to Bullying.
There is a lot of debate on how bullying can happen and ways to prevent it. Most people want to convince the government to create a law out of it. Some want to report bullying to a parent or teacher. Then people would want an intervention to settle diffrens aside from all of the trouble. However, these dose not mean that the bully will stop performning these hurtful actions upon the students. What if a bully decides to do all of this and relive the past or might resort to cyber bullying. It is a worse case scenario for many students who are afraid of bullying. If all else fails, then most students will do anything to survive. That means that they will use name calling or physical violence to stop the bully. Both students and bullying will have to deal with all of the suspensions from the school as a result to an all out war between students and bullies. Some will use self defense to keep the bullying at bay by not allowing the bully to hit another student. So all of this divides the solutions into two choices. Either tell the school to deal with trouble they do not want to go through, or allow the students to deal with the bullying problems with violence and suicide in their minds. Students cannot stand and do nothing and wonder why. 42.9% of the respondents say that they will do nothing and watch bullying action unfold. Doing nothing is not going to solve anything, its a matter of survival of the fittest.
what did I learn about bullying?
After doing intense research about bullying, what I learned about it is that bullying is more then an evil behavior that puts the whole school down, it created a lot of complicated issues and claims that people have an uncertain idea about bullying. Our parents, schools, and state governments still argue over this complex issue of bullying. We can create a lot of claims about bullying and ways to stop it but the problem will still comeback to us. It can be a loophole in the school or government that bullies tend to get away with. It also might be that people do not put enough awareness to prevent more bullying. Could be that people cyber bully more often then in school. There is ridiculous amount of information that it is hard to find ways to stop bullying. One of the many ways to stop bully are creating laws, interventions, self defense, learn the signs of bullying, and involvement in school. It is hard to imagine the intense amount over this subject that people still argue over.
Some people want to stop bullying with government involvement. That means that it is up to the state to a lot of research to find the causes of bullying and a realistic solution to prevent it. It is much like a research project in school but it is practical and can help reduce bullying. One huge example of such a law is New Jersey ’s anti bully law. It was enacted so make punishments tougher to reduce bullying. Governor Chris Christie said that the law is the toughest anti bully law in the US . The trade off is that the state has to through all of the trouble from bullying to make the law. Also it can take months or even years to enact the law. For this to work the whole state must have a huge awareness to bullying.
Another method to stop bullying is interventions. Most bullying start around elementary and middle schools. Bullying is seriously not a laughing matter as it will hurt the student and the whole school. Intervention will help the victim get a chance to talk to the bully and discuss problems to end it in a positive environment. It will then develop good relationships with the bully in hopes to stop it. However intervention will not guarantee the bully to stop all of the bully. Maybe the bully will go back to the old behavior and cause more trouble.
If students get in confrontation with the bully, they have the rights to defend themselves by standing up to them. to stand up means that you do not show any fear towards to the bully, you are not scared, and you will do anything to convince the bully to stop. On a survey I created, 42.9% of the students say that they will report to the teacher about bullying. Although telling the teacher will stop the bullying, the problem is that the teacher will go through all of the trouble to stop the bully. the best solution is to stand up. unfortunately only 14.3% of students say that they will stand up to the bully. Sanding up to the bully will indeed show the victim power and the bullying will stop. by doing so, the victim becomes emotionally powerful.
If all else fails, then self defense will make the bully end the trouble. Self defense can be used to escape or to fight someone. When encountering a bully, the victim thinks that the bully has no fighting experience what so ever. In a survey 28.6% of students say they will resort to self defense to stop the bullying. The biggest mistake of self defense is that some students use it to fight. fighting will lead both the victim and the bully to be suspended or even expelled from school. The proper way of doing self defense is escape. It will give the victim enough time to get out and tell the teacher. Either telling or fighting , the experience is more like survival.
Bullying dose not have to be involved in school, As new technology is rises so as bullying through cyber-bullying. Cyber bullying allows bullies to track the victim online like Facebook and Twitter or through text messaging. Cyber bullying is more dangerous then physical bullying because it requires no physical contact and the anywhere the victim goes, there is no safe spot from cyber bullying and often no one reports it. Only 14.3% of students say that they will report bullying to a parent online. Online, there are no laws and no limits that restrict any Threatening message. Whatever people type, they think its ok to post something really hurtful. Those kinds of messages will make the victim commit suicide. One example of an action like this is a Rutgers student Tyler Clementi who committed suicide after his room mate post a video of his sexual activity with another male student. Ways to prevent it is to logout or delete the cyber bully’s account to stop it from becoming worse.

I made my decision, it's bullying
Bullying, from what I know is that it is a very negatine behavior to almost everybody in school or outside and it should not be influenced for any reasons. Whay it is amportent to me is that there are some people who think that "oh, I think hurting people is a very thrilling and fun thing to do." in witch it can start up many problems for the bully and the individuals around it. It also hurts the individual's self esteem both physcially and emotionally. Like the world has changed alot and so do bully in witch anybody can be a bully, not just cool kids. It shold be important is that some schools are not adressing the issue enough for the students to understand what a "typical bully behavior" is. Many people mistake bullying as the Columbine Shooting in witch bullys are armed and dangerous, but in reality their only weapon is their hands. Another thing that schools need to work on is cyber bullying since almost no one identfies the signs of cyber bullying or report it about. That is how people commit suicides because of bully over social network sites like Facebook and Twitter. The changes needed is that schools should have a better programs for anti bullying. Most schools k-12 should have better ways to stop bullying from all grade levels. Also local communities should implement laws that ristrict bully from any kind. Whats missing is that there is no law to prevent bullying on people with disabilities. They're usually the most common victims of bullying and it should be implimented to protect them. That is all from what I know from bullying.

About Me Intro
Hello, My name is Christian and this is my first time bloging. I am doing this for my english class for school so do not expect for me to be doing this often for life. I am doing it until my class finishes it. Anyways, my title Some Random Issues focuses on the issues that drive me mad.
The first thing that drives me mad is standardized testing in high school. Why, it is because I think testing is very difficult and complicated. I just do not like how standardized test have made things difficult for me.One time, I took one of those test and took me four hours to finish it. Not only that, they all look the same and the burdon carrys on with every student taking it. Not every student is created equal so why do the standardized tests.
My second reason is bullying. Ironically, I have never been bullied in my life. However when I see one student getting pinned down by a bully, it tuns me on the wrong way. Bullying hurts the students both physically, mentally, and emotionally. You think bullying is a cool activity? Think Again!!! I wish It were a law so bullying like these never happen again.
My third reason is speeding. My family gets pulled over alot for speeding alot.
